Micah received his PhD from University College London and MFA from Sotheby’s Institute (London). An insight historian, versed theorist and engaging lecturer, Micah educates artists pertaining to the role and functions of the arts, also bringing with him practical knowledge in the contemporary scene. He maintains strong ties with artists and collectors through regular public lectures, judging art contests, and as a board member of the Springville Museum of Art.
Micah is also the founder of Zion Arts Society, a non-profit organization dedicated to showing works by professional and emerging LDS artists to serious enthusiasts. He believes that the Gospel is enriched through the fine arts, and that artists must be actively supported by dedicated patrons who understand and invest in their work.
