Edward J. Fraughton, an American artist, sculptor and inventor is known for his epic monumental works and editions that often relate to the history of the American West.
Ed Fraughton received his training under the Beaux-Arts sculptor Avard T. Fairbanks at the University of Utah where he received his Bachelor of Fine Arts in 1962. Ed has exhibited extensively for over 40 years, including at the Smithsonian Institute, the White House, Utah State Capitol building, Gilcrease Museum, and the National Sculpture Society. A powerful proponent and a teacher of the Classical Tradition, Ed has served on the board of the Institute of Classical Architecture and Art Utah Chapter, Utah Cultural Arts Foundation and the National Sculpture Society.
